OVER 130 ACTIVITIES LINED UP FOR NATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2025 CELEBRATION
KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 (Bernama) – More than 130 activities await visitors at the National Youth Day (HBN) 2025 celebration at Dataran Merdeka here, beginning tomorrow until this Sunday.
Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) secretary-general Ahmad Farhan Rosli said that themed “Yakin Boleh”, this year’s celebration highlights five main segments - Port Jana Duit (TVET and careers), Port Healing (mental health), Port Gaming (e-sports), Port Wadah Insan (youth expression), and the ASEAN Pavilion, which features youth participation from all 10 ASEAN countries.
“This programme showcases a variety of exciting segments including the ASEAN Youth Concert, MYFutureJobs career and entrepreneurship exhibition, talks by digital content creators, as well as an automotive and motorcycle showcase, alongside TVET and youth technology exhibitions,” he said in a statement today.
He said the celebration will also include challenges, interactive workshops and forums involving young personalities in technology, innovation, and leadership.
Ahmad Farhan added that the highlight of the celebration is scheduled to be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 8 pm this Saturday.
The event will also feature the presentation of the Anugerah Perdana Belia Negara 2025 honour and performances by local artistes.
He therefore encouraged the public, especially youth, to join the wide range of activities offered throughout the HBN 2025 celebration, which reflects the continuous commitment of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, MBM, and strategic partners in empowering youth development through an inclusive, progressive approach in line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
