ASEAN FOUNDATION COLLABORATES WITH HUAWEI TO HARNESS DIGITAL POTENTIAL

BANGKOK, April 29 (Bernama) -- The Asean Foundation has joined forces with Huawei to unlock the full potential of digitalisation, aiming to secure prosperous futures for all Asean communities.
ASEAN Foundation executive director Piti Srisangnam said technology providers like Huawei stand as pivotal partners in spearheading Asean's transformative journey towards becoming a more digitally empowered and intelligent region.
“Through strategic partnerships and investments, Huawei can contribute not only cutting-edge technology solutions but also invaluable insights and resources to fortify digital infrastructure, extend connectivity, and advance initiatives for digital inclusion," he said during a media roundtable at the Digital and Intelligent APAC Congress 2024 here today.
Srisangnam highlighted Huawei's dedication to research and development partnerships, driving innovation and the creation of tailored solutions tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities within the Asean context.
He underscored that Huawei's commitment extends beyond technology, encompassing knowledge-sharing initiatives that foster collaboration and collective learning among stakeholders.
“By facilitating open dialogue and the exchange of best practices, Huawei contributes to cultivating a culture of innovation and cooperation that accelerates progress towards shared goals.
“Through forums, conferences, and collaborative projects, Huawei engages with Asean stakeholders to co-create innovative solutions that address pressing regional challenges and unlock new avenues for sustainable growth and development," he added.
