KOTA KINABALU, Sept 27 -- Sabah Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Datuk Hajiji Noor and Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin were seen entering the Istana Negeri this afternoon believed to have an audience with the Yang Dipertua Negeri Sabah Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.

Bung Moktar arrived in a white car at 2.27 pm, while Hajiji arrived a minute later in a black car.

However, both leaders who were each clad in three-piece suit and a tie, refused to answer any question but smiled when the waiting pressmen congratulated them for being the prospective Chief Minister of Sabah.

STAR president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan was also seen entering Istana Negeri at 3 pm after PBS secretary-general Datuk Jahid Jahim arrived earlier at 2.47 pm.

Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) comprising of PN, BN and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) won the simple majority of 38 seats in the state election yesterday.

Earlier, the two leaders of PN and BN, attended the meeting at a hotel in the city.

Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin when met, said the meeting went well.

“Everyone is smiling, there’s no issues,” he said.
